By registering for participation in Camp Ruach Hakayitz, you acknowledge and accept that the various activities offered at the camp carry certain risks and hazards. You further acknowledge and agree that the camp and its directors, counselors, employees, volunteers, and all other staff members shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, or loss that may occur during your participation in these activities. It is important to note that if you leave the camp for any reason, including illness, injury, homesickness, or disciplinary reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund of any camp fees paid. This policy applies to all campers and their families and is an essential condition of participation in Camp Ruach Hakayitz. At Camp Ruach Hakayitz, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all campers. As such, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited during the interim of camp. Any camper found violating this rule will be immediately dismissed from the camp, with no refund of camp fees. Additionally, the consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited during camp. Any camper found violating this rule will be immediately dismissed from the camp, and their parents will be responsible for the transportation fees. Additionally, the camper's participation in future camp sessions will be jeopardized. We also have a strict policy against the use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other similar devices, including any device with video capability, during camp. This policy is in place to prevent distractions and ensure that all campers have an immersive and enjoyable experience. Any camper found using or possessing such devices will be immediately dismissed from the camp, with no refund of camp fees. It is important to note that these rules are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Camp Ruach Hakayitz may organize trips during the summer camp session, and transportation will be provided by bus or other appropriate means of transportation. By enrolling your child in the camp, parents or guardians consent to their child's participation in all trips organized by the camp, and acknowledge the inherent risks and hazards associated with such trips. Please note that in addition to the general activities offered at camp, medical care will also be provided for any campers who require it. Parents or guardians authorize the camp to provide necessary medical treatment to their child in the event of an emergency. As we continue to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we reserve the right to test for COVID-19 at our discretion and at no additional charge to parents. By registering for participation in Camp Ruach Hakayitz, you also acknowledge and accept that the camp may use various forms of communication to update you about the camp and your child's experience, including email, text messages, and phone calls. By providing your contact information, you consent to receive such communications from the camp. We understand the importance of keeping parents and guardians informed about their child's experience at camp, and we strive to provide regular updates and communication throughout the session. If you have any concerns or questions about the camp or your child's experience, please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff. Finally, we ask for your consent to use any photographs or videos taken of your child during the camp session for promotional purposes. At Camp Ruach Hakayitz, we prioritize the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of our campers. By registering for participation, you agree to abide by the rules and policies outlined in this document and to cooperate with our staff to ensure a positive and enriching experience for all campers. Medical Authorization Form:
I, [Parent or Guardian] authorize Camp Ruach Hakayitz to treat my child, [Camper], in the event of an emergency or illness that may occur during the summer camp session. I understand that every effort will be made to contact me or another designated emergency contact before medical treatment is provided, but that treatment may be provided without my consent if necessary. I confirm that I have disclosed all relevant medical information about my child to the camp to the best of my knowledge, and that I will inform the camp of any changes to my child's medical condition that may occur during the camp session. I release and discharge Camp Ruach Hakayitz and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any liability, claims, or damages arising from or related to any medical treatment provided to my child during the camp session, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the camp or its personnel. I understand that it is my responsibility to provide the camp with accurate and up-to-date contact information in case of emergency.
